The Garden Party – Powerful Conversations with Leaders in Business

As the economy continues to reel from the effects of COVID-19, nothing is more important than getting businesses going. In Ghana, 70 to 80% of business are not formal and most of these are owned by women.

The Garden Party which was hosted by Tonisha Tagoe, CEO of Apples and Pears and founder of the Ladies Entrepreneurship Club was held at the United Nations RCO office, Fourth Avenue, Ridge Accra. The event brought together ladies in business who shared really powerful experiences to learn from.

H.E Charles Abani, the UN resident coordinator was there to grace the event as were many other powerful and influential people. There was more than enough to eat and drink and more importantly, it was a very great and rare opportunity that brought people together to network. There were lots of vendors there as well who came to market their goods and services.
