The Executive Committee (ExCom) is the governing body of the LEC Connect leadership pathway. ExCom members serve 12-month terms, attend monthly strategy meetings, and hold voting rights on programme changes — subject to Executive Director approval.
This is not a title. It's a commitment to leadership, community building, and the advancement of women in entrepreneurship across borders.
Leadership Roles
Eight Seats, One Vision
President
Chairs monthly meetings, sets the strategic agenda, serves as the primary liaison to the Executive Director.
Vice President
Supports the President, steps in when needed, and ensures cross-functional collaboration across ExCom initiatives.
Secretary
Manages meeting agendas, minutes, and official ExCom documentation. Keeps the record clear and current.
Member Relations Chair
Champion of member engagement. Leads retention, satisfaction, and community-building initiatives across all Pods.
Recruitment & Visibility Chair
Drives new member acquisition and public-facing campaigns. Oversees LEC's social media, PR, and ambassador efforts.
Partnerships & Alliances Chair
Identifies and cultivates strategic relationships with brands, sponsors, organisations, and media partners.
Stakeholder Relations Chair
Manages relationships with external stakeholders — investors, advisory boards, and institutional partners.
Treasurer
Oversees the ExCom budget, tracks expenditures, and presents quarterly financial reports to the committee.
What's Expected
Responsibilities

Monthly ExCom Meeting
Attend the monthly ExCom strategy call. Active participation is required — this is where decisions are made.

Quarterly Strategic Contribution
Each member delivers at least one strategic initiative per quarter aligned with their role.

Recruit 3 New Members
Commit to referring at least 3 new members within your 12-month term. Grow the community you lead.

Public Visibility
Serve as a visible representative of LEC — on social media, at events, and in your professional network.
Who Can Apply?
Eligibility
ExCom is reserved for members who are committed to leading from the front. You must meet all of the following criteria.
Annual Exchange or Connect member — Monthly billing is not eligible for ExCom.
3 referrals in the prior 12 months — Demonstrated commitment to growing the LEC community.
Active community participation — Regular attendance at Pod events, workshops, and Boardroom Passes.
Willingness to serve a full 12-month term — Continuity matters. ExCom is a year-long commitment.
