Entrepreneurs all over the world are part of a group of people providing solutions to many societal changes and contributing significantly to making lives simpler and easier for humanity. It is however a very challenging task to start a business (Startup) and grow that startup to become a successful business.
Many local and multinational businesses today were once startups – they are now great institutions providing solutions and jobs that help in improving the economic situations of humanity.
In Ghana, like some other parts of the world, there are no adequate support systems for startups. They face challenges including availability/access to startup capital, office rents, payment of staff salaries or allowances, marketing which is one of the most integral part of every business.
The entire startup community in Ghana came together in a hybrid format for this year’s Business Startup Clinic on Saturday 30th October 2021.
With the focus on three exemplary entrepreneurial and business icons, Tonisha Tagoe, CEO of Apples and Pears and founder of the Ladies Entrepreneurship Club who is also an award winning entrepreneur, an enterprise development and start up strategist, Derrick S. Vormawor, CEO and founder of Platinum Africa Solutions Ltd.,and Mrs Araba Ofori, CEO and founder Goldsteps micro credit services. These three business icons explored new business strategies, insights and different ways of scaling up a startup business in this modern era from startup to profits.
The Gh50 fee gave participants access to the full event (physical /online), the speakers, and a networking opportunity to meet other great startup business owners.
