This course is designed for female entrepreneurs and professionals of all levels — especially those seeking clarity on how to engage with our platform, join the right events, and maximize value from their Boardroom Pass. The Ladies Entrepreneurship Club (LEC) is a global platform designed to connect, coach, and celebrate ambitious female entrepreneurs. We know that starting, building, and scaling a business can feel overwhelming—especially when you're doing it alone. That’s why LEC exists: to give you access to real opportunities, international visibility, and a vibrant community of like-minded women working across sectors, regions, and stages of business.
Whether you're just getting started, looking to expand your reach, or ready to take your business global, LEC is here to meet you at every step of your journey. From interactive events and coaching sessions to our growing resource hub and marketplace, we make it easy to learn, connect, and thrive.
We operate across major cities around the world—New York, London, Accra, Dubai, and more—offering in-person and virtual events every month. You’ll find workshops, panels, markets, and pop-ups all designed to help you sharpen your skills, boost your confidence, and get your business in front of the right audiences.
When you join the club, you get access to a range of streams tailored to your interests—like trade, money, startup life, investment, and travel. You can buy a Boardroom Pass for just one stream or go all-in with an annual all-access pass. LEC isn’t just a club—it’s a movement for women who mean business.
Ready to explore what we offer and how you can get involved? Let’s dive in.
The LEC Global Calendar is your go-to roadmap for everything happening across the Club—whether you're in New York, Accra, London, Dubai, or joining virtually. This lesson breaks down how our calendar is structured, how to follow what's happening in your region or stream, and how to stay on top of events that matter to your growth.
At its core, the calendar is designed to keep things simple, consistent, and impactful. Every month, across every active city, we run a Saturday event. These events are categorized by business “streams” like Startup, Travel, Trade, Investment, and Money. That means if you’ve purchased a Boardroom Pass for a stream, you’ll know exactly when your relevant events are coming up—no guesswork.
You’ll also see clearly marked virtual events. These include training sessions, founder showcases, pitch nights, and online marketplaces—all accessible from anywhere in the world. We maintain a balance of local and global programming so you can stay connected no matter where you live or travel.
The calendar is not just a list of events—it’s also a tool to help you plan your learning, build new partnerships, and decide which streams you want to invest more time in. You can filter it by city or topic, and we’ll show you how to sync it with your own schedule or mobile calendar so you never miss a moment.
We’ll also explain how early access works for Boardroom Pass holders, when registration opens for each event, and what happens if you miss something.
If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed by too many options or unsure about how to participate, this lesson will bring clarity. You’ll walk away knowing exactly how to use the LEC calendar as a business growth tool—and how to stay plugged into the most relevant activities for you.
LEC’s monthly rhythm is built to give structure and support to your entrepreneurial journey. In this lesson, we walk you through what a typical month looks like when you're part of the Ladies Entrepreneurship Club. Each calendar month includes a mix of learning, networking, sales opportunities, and member-only perks—carefully designed to keep you engaged and moving forward.
First, expect at least one Saturday event per region or stream. These are hybrid (in-person + virtual), focused on hands-on learning, founder showcases, or networking. As a Boardroom Pass holder, you’ll get first access to register and priority entry—especially important for in-person spots, which are limited.
During the month, you’ll also find virtual pop-ups: live sessions like Sip & Shops, live trainings, or behind-the-scenes coaching from the LEC team. These are often themed around your chosen stream—like 'Money Mondays' or 'Trade Thursdays'—and open only to pass holders unless otherwise stated.
Our newsletters arrive every two weeks and highlight what’s coming, recap what just happened, and spotlight members doing great work. You’ll also receive direct WhatsApp updates if you opt in.
You can expect opportunities to be featured in the LEC Catalogue, pitch your product at live sessions, or request one-to-one help through our Office Hours. For those more engaged, there are leadership opportunities inside each stream or city pod—like helping host events or being part of our speaker lineup.
This lesson ensures you know what’s always on the table—so you can make the most of every week, every month, without wondering what you’re missing. We’ll also include a printable “month at a glance” sample calendar so you can visualize your activity plan and set reminder
Boardroom Passes are the key to unlocking the full experience of the Ladies Entrepreneurship Club. In this lesson, we explain exactly what they are, why they exist, how they work, and why they matter to your business journey.
Think of the LEC like a global business lounge—with different rooms dedicated to topics like finance, travel, trade, investment, and startup. Each of these “rooms” is called a stream. A Boardroom Pass gives you access to the stream(s) you care about most. You can buy as many passes as you like for $150 each per year.
This lesson walks you through the different pass types and the kinds of events and opportunities each one includes. For example, the “Money Money Money” stream covers access to financial literacy events, investment pitch nights, and exclusive partner offers. The “Startup” stream will include product development sessions, brand showcases, and more.
You’ll learn how passes give you early access to event registration, first refusal on limited seating, and eligibility for participation or leadership in that stream. You’ll also understand how stream-specific WhatsApp communities, promo opportunities, and catalogue placements are tied to your pass.
Even better, pass holders can gift or nominate a plus-one for select events—meaning your friends, mentees, or clients can benefit from your membership too.
Whether you’re brand new or considering buying your first pass, this lesson breaks down what’s included and how to decide which ones are right for you based on your goals.
With multiple streams to choose from, how do you know which Boardroom Pass fits your business goals? This lesson helps you confidently select your streams and maximize your access to the right opportunities.
LEC streams are not just categories—they’re curated ecosystems. Each one is shaped by the needs of our global community and focuses on the real issues female entrepreneurs face. From understanding investment to entering new markets, each stream has a unique vibe and purpose.
Here’s a quick look at what some streams focus on:
Money Money Money: Finance, investment, pricing strategy, and building sustainable revenue.
Startup: Business modeling, brand building, product launches, and first sales.
Africa Trade: Export-ready business strategies, AfCFTA insights, and finding buyers.
Travel: Building travel-related businesses or leveraging travel for growth.
Investment: Understanding capital, preparing to pitch, connecting with funders.
You’ll learn how to assess your business stage, income goals, and current focus to match with the right stream(s). We’ll provide a decision worksheet and a sample journey map so you can plan for stream upgrades or additions later on.
Finally, we’ll share stories of real members who grew from one stream into another—and how this layered model of access helped them scale step by step.
Registering for events at the Ladies Entrepreneurship Club is simple, but knowing when and how to secure your seat is critical—especially for in-demand regional sessions. In this lesson, we’ll walk you through the full registration process for both virtual and in-person events.
First, we’ll explain the golden rule: You must hold a Boardroom Pass before attending any LEC event. This is your membership access to all events tied to a stream. If you're not a pass holder for the stream an event belongs to, you may still request access—however, confirmation will only be granted after pass holders have had their first refusal window (usually 48 hours). If you're a guest of a pass holder, you’ll be prioritized for standby entry.
We then guide you step by step through the registration flow: how to browse upcoming events on the LEC site, choose your stream or region, complete the simple registration form, and wait for confirmation. For hybrid events, we’ll cover how to indicate whether you plan to attend in person or online—and how limited seating works.
You'll also learn about the different registration periods (early bird, pass holder window, general release) and how to spot if an event is exclusive to pass holders or open to wider guests. We'll also touch on virtual pop-up events and catalogue-related gatherings which may have separate signups.
We provide a registration checklist, including tips for setting reminders, adding events to your digital calendar, and keeping your WhatsApp notifications on so you don’t miss access links.
By the end of this lesson, you'll be confident navigating the event sign-up process and making the most of every opportunity the calendar offers.
LEC operates globally, but our approach is deeply local. In this lesson, we show you what kind of events, collaborations, and opportunities you can expect in each of our key cities—currently including New York, London, Accra, and Dubai—with plans to grow.
Each city is managed by a regional team (or directly by HQ for now) and has a unique rhythm. Events are held on Saturdays and follow the same high-quality format but with different themes, partners, and guest speakers based on local needs and opportunities. For instance, an event in Accra might focus on trade readiness and export packaging, while one in London could dive into pitch strategy or navigating new regulations.
You'll learn how the city calendars are structured, which events are stream-aligned, and how to follow updates about your city even if you travel. Some members participate in multiple cities, which is possible if you hold passes in more than one stream or use our virtual options to stay involved.
We also cover how to engage with the city WhatsApp groups, how catalogue features and promotions are handled per location, and how vendors can apply for pop-up spots.
This lesson helps you understand that LEC is not just one club—it’s a network of entrepreneurial micro-hubs connected by shared values and a global mission. Whether you're local or just visiting, there’s a way to plug in and participate.
Our Boardroom Breakfast Meetings are the heart of your LEC experience. In this lesson, discover how these curated in-person events bring together women entrepreneurs for learning, networking, and community building. You'll understand the standard format, what to expect, how seating works, and why these Saturday gatherings are where deals are made, friendships are formed, and progress becomes visible. It’s not just breakfast — it’s your monthly dose of insight and inspiration.
Full Lesson Content:
Held once a month on Saturdays, our Boardroom Breakfast Meetings are in-person gatherings that offer rich experiences rooted in strategy, sisterhood, and execution. These events give ample time for a structured program without overwhelming your weekend.
Here’s what a typical Breakfast Meeting includes:
1 hour of Marketplace networking before the panels
Vendors from the LEC Catalogue display their products and services
3 themed panel sessions (30 mins each)
Focused on a single stream, such as “Money Money Money” or “Startup”
2 deep-dive expert sessions (15 mins each)
High-impact insights from experienced professionals
1 hour of post-panel networking and closing remarks
Another opportunity to engage and build connections
Attendance is stream-based. You must hold a Boardroom Pass for the relevant stream to register. Pass holders are given early access. Non-pass holders can request to join, but confirmation comes only after 48 hours or if they’re invited as a plus-one.
Only 10 in-person seats are offered per event to keep the experience intimate. The rest may join virtually, depending on the city’s setup.
These meetings are the heartbeat of our calendar — make it your habit to attend, engage, and grow.
Can’t make it in person? This lesson explains how LEC’s virtual model brings you full access to insights, sessions, and stream-based content — even if you're not in a hub city. You’ll discover how Zoom-based sessions, WhatsApp groups, and recorded replays create a seamless global experience. Learn how to get the most from your Boardroom Pass no matter where you are in the world.
Full Lesson Content:
LEC is global — and so is your access. Virtual participation is a core part of our model. Every stream includes a mix of online-only events, pre-recorded expert videos, digital networking spaces, and tools to ensure your learning journey is not limited by geography.
Here’s how virtual fits in:
If you’re in a city without a local hub, you can still attend virtual stream events.
Pass Holders get access to private Zoom training sessions, pop-up deep dives, and expert Q&As.
We also use WhatsApp communities to keep each stream active and engaging between meetings.
All virtual sessions are recorded and made available in your member portal — so you can watch, learn, and take notes anytime.
In most cases, pass holders are prioritized for invitations, event materials, and digital replays. If a stream is running a hybrid event, a livestream or replay will be available.
Think of virtual not as second best — but as a core pathway to participation. It allows every member, everywhere, to access high-quality conversations and training, anytime.
LEC isn’t a membership — it’s a movement. In this lesson, learn how to evolve from a passive participant to an active partner in our global network. We show you the different ways you can get involved beyond attending events: hosting a pod in your city, becoming a stream lead, offering your business for catalogue listings, or even running sessions. Whether you're just starting or scaling up, LEC offers layered roles that match your ambition. Start where you are — there’s a place for you.

In this lesson, we clarify a distinction that often confuses members: the difference between the Executive Committee (ExCom) and the hired LEC team. Both groups are essential to the success of the Ladies Entrepreneurship Club — but they serve different functions, follow different structures, and are rewarded in different ways.
The ExCom is made up of LEC members who step up into leadership positions to guide the community. These roles are not paid — they are voluntary but come with powerful benefits such as free Boardroom Plus membership, visibility, and leadership recognition. Roles include President, Vice President, Secretary, Stream Leader, and Pod Leader. Members of the ExCom are selected through application, nomination, or election depending on the role. Their purpose is to represent the voice of the membership, guide the Club’s development in alignment with its mission, and uphold its values.
On the other hand, the hired LEC team consists of professionals brought in to help execute the vision. These team members are paid and may include office staff, designers, website managers, customer service reps, content creators, and sales support. Their focus is on operational delivery — making sure systems run smoothly, content is published, events are executed, and members are supported.
This lesson will help you identify whether you're best suited to lead through the ExCom or to apply for a staff role — or both over time. By understanding these structures, you’ll also know who to contact for different queries or ideas within the club.
What You’ll Learn:
The roles and purpose of the Executive Committee
How ExCom differs from the hired LEC team
How to get involved in either leadership or operational work

The LEC Executive Committee (ExCom) isn’t symbolic — it’s a leadership engine. Elected members of the ExCom are the strategic anchors of the Club’s impact in each city and stream. This lesson breaks down the core roles available, what each one entails, and how they contribute to the overall mission of helping female entrepreneurs start, build, grow, and sell their businesses.
ExCom roles are not staff jobs — they are voluntary leadership positions filled by committed members who lead from the front. If you're ready to make a visible impact and gain global leadership experience, this lesson will help you understand what each position demands.
Core Roles in the ExCom:
President
Oversees the overall strategy, cohesion, and impact of the local or stream chapter. Chairs monthly ExCom meetings, ensures reporting, and is the face of the chapter.
Vice President
Supports the President, coordinates recruitment, onboarding, and engagement activities. Steps in when the President is unavailable.
Secretary
Keeps detailed records, submits monthly reports, and manages the communication flow between members, team leads, and LEC HQ.
City Lead / Stream Lead
Facilitates activities, events, and conversations specific to a geographic location or themed stream (e.g., Money, Travel, Trade). Acts as the local point of contact.
Each of these roles includes:
A monthly impact deliverable
A recruitment and activation quota
Participation in quarterly leadership calls
Representing LEC in external meetings and at events
ExCom members can also nominate sub-committees or taskforces to help execute activities — particularly for larger cities or streams.
This lesson will help you:
Match your strengths to the right leadership role
Understand time commitments and deliverables
Start preparing your platform or nomination profile
Connect with current ExCom members for peer insights
The LEC Executive Committee (ExCom) is where leadership meets responsibility. ExCom members are elected to serve, lead, and grow the Club — both online and on the ground. If you're thinking about stepping up, this lesson outlines everything you need to know to prepare.
Becoming part of the ExCom is not just a title — it’s a working leadership role. Whether you’re applying for President, Vice President, Secretary, Stream Lead, or City Lead, you must meet specific milestones and agree to deliver on defined quotas during your term. This ensures our leadership is both credible and capable of pushing LEC forward.
Minimum Eligibility Requirements:
Hold at least one Boardroom Pass

Have completed this orientation course
Attend a minimum of 3 LEC events (in-person or virtual)
